MES | WE
These characters were inspired by people I met once or more times on my way. Most of those people live in my little village or even a few steps from my home. One or two of them just passed the street for once and I did not see them any other day later. These characters – are impressions, a captured emotional moment. Throughout the creative process I felt I was smiling often. It was such a wonderful time of an expressive drawing made by a free hand line. Playful quick sketches made using colored pencils allowed me to find harmony between portraits which still were left in my memory and the feeling which inspired me to create all these characters. And even though such the type of drawing did not require any precision, indeed, a tiny stroke could make sense in the disclosure of a precise character. I am so glad to share these fine sketches with you.
