SUN&NILE
This visual story was inspired by the fact of one of the darkness winters in my country during a few last years. Only 13 sunny hours during 62 days. People missed the Sun. So, I started looking for it in my imagination. One day I opened the box where I kept my favourite books about palms, Leonardo da Vinci and Egypt. And the last one appeared in my hands. That was a great story about the most majestic king of Egypt – Tutankhamun and all Egyptian gods which followed him throughout his entire life. As far as I remember, I have always admired this ancient culture. And this time it inspired me to express my longing for the Sun by creating these characters of animals which live in that sunny land. Falcon, gazelle, caracal, cobra and jackal. They are shining in the Sun and bathing in the Nile. I hope the Sun reflections of light on the gold and deep blue will catch your eyes.
