BARSTUKU TAKAIS
Once in the middle of the land was a forest. It was a magic place told in ancient legends and later written in the books and now is known for everyone who reached that place. But just imagine that you hear this story for the first time and you have not found the forest yet. -- The aim of the project is to motivate families to spend more time together surrounded by nature. The path of a few kilometres is in the forest of Dovainonys. The location is almost in the middle of Lithuania. People are invited to find and meet five mythical creatures called ‘barstukai’ – GIRULIS, VĖDRYNĖ, SPANGUOLIS, MARIABARZDIS and NAKTIŽIEDĖ – and spend valuable and memorable time together joyfully discovering and learning about our culture in an engaging way.
