THE STORY
This short story reveals our uniqueness when somewhere, somehow by someone we are chosen.
Only we have to do — to wait the time will come. So — that tries our patience and hardens us, also — teaches us.
---
I freed my imagination and in order to create a special space and place for this.
A forest. A magic alive forest, where everything has some features of the human and reminds us and our behavior. This scene is quite recognizable and experienced thing by everyone, I believe. It shows the beauty and the magic of simplicity. Story is dedicated for everyone who is not indifferent for his surrounding.
---
This art work is the first part of the story which contains three scenes.
That is the beginning of the narrative — Wooden Goddess meets Flying leaves and chooses one of them giving cranberry berries. The story reveals not only our uniqueness, but also a joy of sharing and being a part of something.

THE PROCESS
The inspiration of this series of art works was a study of nature objects which I continue and develop in several of my last works.
This time I felt that I gain a few of new things in drawing practice solving these tasks:
- to reveal a materiality of characters;
- to catch the light;
- to create a special atmosphere;
- to fix an essential moment when the cranberry berries are giving for the Flying leaf;
- to keep and to highlight graphically the main character in this image-Wooden Goddess. Because its form is enough complicated and difficulty tangible as one inseparable shape;
- to reveal a viability and emotional scene.
Doing these tasks I have got new practices in coloring process, also creating a particular place for creatures of Alive forest and the most important fact š— to free an imagination, to trust where it leads me.

Let the magic of the simplicity begins!
